This registration event link is to register for the 9:30 a.m.-noon Beyond the Textbook: A Perinatal Health Simulation MPHA preconference. If you would like to attend the 1:30-4:00 p.m. session please click here. The same information will be covered in both sessions. Please only register for one of the sessions.

Session Description:
This session is supported by the Healthy Moms Healthy Babies Mississippi and UMMC's CHAMP for Mom.
Step beyond traditional learning and into an engaging, hands-on simulation designed to strengthen perinatal knowledge, critical thinking, and real-world response skills. Participants will rotate through five interactive modules addressing pregnancy warning signs, prematurity, infant safe sleep, toddler safety, and perinatal mental health.
Featuring Penny, Thomas, Sophia, and Johnny from the Healthy Moms/Healthy Babies educational series, along with UMMC’s CHAMPS for Moms, this interdisciplinary experience will help professionals recognize risks, respond appropriately, and better support mothers, infants, young children, and families across the perinatal journey.

Step 3: NOTE: Membership is not required for event registration (even though the note on the third page says that it is). We hope that you will consider joining or renewing your MPHA membership. To pay for the session, choose credit/debit card, or request an invoice to pay with cash, check, or other payment form. Follow the steps on that screen.
