In celebration of National Public Health Week, the Pine Belt Chapter of the Mississippi Public Health Association is hosting a Celebration Reception featuring local Chef, Master Chef finalist and Food Network celebrity ... Katie Dixon.
Chef Katie will be on hand to discuss being a healthy food NUT and demonstrating food options for healthy eating ... for your consumption and eating pleasure!
Food and activities for this event are being sponsored by MPHA, Mississippi Oral Health Community Alliance, William Carey University School of Osteopathic Medicine and the Birdhouse Cafe.
The Pine Belt Chapter will share the vision for the newly created (and the first and currently only) Chapter within the Mississippi Public Health Association. While there is no requirement for MPHA/Chapter membership or a fee to attend this event, the Chapter strongly encourages you to join MPHA and the Pine Belt Chapter and to work with us to move the Pine Belt forward in support of public health advocacy, education and leadership.
